My Story

Studio Plumb was born from a desire to make connections. I wanted to connect my passion for both interior and graphic design under one roof. I want to help my clients feel connected to their physical environment so that it truly feels like home. And if you’re in business, I want to create brands that reflect the person behind it and connect them to their audience.

In 2016 I launched the CreativeMornings Sacramento chapter, and this welcoming community (both locally and internationally) saved me from a difficult period in my life. I confronted my fear of public speaking and through these events I was inspired to take take risks and pursue my creative dreams. After 20 years as in-house graphic designer turned creative agency owner, in mid-2017 I made the decision to follow a new path and pursue my lifelong passion for interior design.

I want to help my clients feel connected to their physical environment so that it truly feels like home.

Ever since I was a kid I would rearrange rooms and get a thrill from the change in perspective. Waking up with my bed on the opposite side of the room did something to help me see the whole world with fresh eyes. A natural problem solver, I work with clients to help them create a space they love whether its just through space-planning or treasure-hunting for the perfect vintage item.

I am a mother, wife, and sometimes renovator of our 1960 dream house #plumbmidmod. You can follow along on my day-to-day on Instagram.
